Previously, PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB) has been using Ellipse version 5.2.3.4_IP since 2004 as an official tool to manage business processes in the areas of Finance and Accounting, Logistics, Warehousing and Procurement, Human Resources, Operations and Asset Maintenance. And along with the development, Ellipse has been transformed to version 8 since 2013. Therefore, the upgrade process is also done for Ellipse in PJB from version 5.2.3.4_IP to version 8.4.9.2 while considering several aspects, including historical migration of data in Ellipse, existing customization migration, identification of other applications that read / write data to Ellipse, as well as improvement of business processes was associated with a module that has not been optimized and new functions of the module that has been optimized.

Through the stages of projects which have been planned and scheduled, on Monday, July 7th, 2014, the Project Team has successfully Go Live at PJB Head Office in Surabaya. Formally, Ellipse 8 has been declared live and can be accessed at the Ellipse instance Production by the User.
